USA defeated Canada, 6-1, on Sunday night in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, Canada to win its record-setting third straight World Para Ice Hockey Championship. The gold medal also marks the sixth overall championship for the USA.
Josh Pauls, who serves on the Board of Directors for The Carnegie Initiative, is the captain of the US team. His shot three minutes into Sunday’s game was deflected by forward Joshua Misiewicz to give the Americans an early lead.
Czechia earned the bronze medal with a win over China.
